​ Secretary of State

The Secretary of State is generally regarded as the third highest ranking official in Soundland's government and is fourth in line for succession of the president. They are responsible for overseeing the country's foreign affairs and managing relations with other nations. The Secretary of State serves as the primary advisor to the president on matters related to foreign policy, is the head of the State Department and along with ambassadors and diplomats, is responsible for heading representing Soundland in international negotiations, meetings, and other diplomatic functions.

As the secretary of the State Department, they are in charge of overseeing the promotion of Soundland's interests and values overseas and advancing Soundland's foreign policy goals. This includes managing the country's embassies and consulates around the world, which serve as a point of contact for both governments and overseas citizens as well as directing the administration of the department.

The Secretary of State also plays a key role in shaping Soundland's foreign policy agenda, working closely with the president to develop strategies for addressing international challenges and promoting Soundland's interests abroad.

The Secretary of State is a critical office in Soundland's government, playing a key role in shaping the country's foreign policy and managing relations with other nations. The Secretary of State's work helps to ensure that Soundland's interests are represented effectively on the global stage and that the country's relationships with other countries are strong and productive.

The current Secretary of State is Diego Vinoly, in office since 2020.
