As the second highest officer in the executive branch of the Republic of Soundland, the Vice President, who is elected by ranked choice voting every two years alongside the president, plays a important role in shaping the nation's future. The Vice President serves as a key advisor to the President, offering guidance and support on matters of policy, governance, and diplomacy. Their advice, insight, and political influence help shape the nation's future and policyscape. The Vice President's expertise and strategic insights contribute significantly to the executive decision-making process, helping to bridge the gap between policy aspirations and practical implementation.

In addition, just as, or more important than their contributions to the executive branch, the vice president executes the responsibilities of the president when they cannot. If the president dies or resigns in office the vice president will become president and the the vice president serves as acting president while the president is incapacitated.
